Charleston, South Carolina has the distinction of being the deadliest single disaster for firefighters since 9/11. They ran into a burning Sofa Super Center at 6 am and nine of them were killed due to the intense heat. They are being hailed as heroes!
I protest though. They didn’t save ONE DANG SOFA. They didn’t go in there to rescue people, the store didn’t open for three hours. So all those poor innocent sofas died that day, when there were hundreds of people on the scene.
Do you think i could gather enough money for the Sofa Relief Fund? I wanna make sure no one ever forgets those poor lost sofas.

I’m starting PETS. People for the Ethical treatment of Sofas. I think these sofas were in unsafe living conditions, and that not enough effort was put forth to save them. They died in the cruelest way possibe, and that’s unnacceptable.
If you wont’ fight for Sofa’s Rights, who will?

I know I’ll get thumbs down, BUT however mis-guided the rescue mission, I will never mock those people who work in such dangerous jobs. We don’t have all the info, and there may have been a shop cat in the building at the time. I do agree however that it seems a terrible masochistic, macho-mania-ed mission and, and who the hell was in charge of those poor souls????****and: Imma Eat-Chu, I smile at your your incredibly cute name and mug-shot, psssst got cat-nip?
